Can the new version of Wotancraft Pilot be improved? The photo bag is quite complete for my needs, I have nothing to complain about, there are not many bags that are as durable, and water-repellent, that can carry so much photo equipment and personal items.
Being super picky, there were times when I wanted the front zipper compartment to have something I could grab, that’s why I attached a red zipper pull, which also adds a new splash of color to the bag, besides de shoulder strap adjustment pull (that is red to orange color).
Also related to this external zipper pocket, to get to it I have to open the main compartment, which is sometimes annoying to expose the equipment in the main compartment to various factors when a simpler solution would be for this zipper to be accessible even with the main compartment closed. I wonder if it could also be added a zipper pocket externally in the zipless flap of the main compartment. It could be nice to not open the main compartment to reach something quickly. Also, I recommend it to mesh with a soft material (Cordura is not so pleasant to touch, and people have a nice feeling when they put their phone in a soft pocket).
It happened to me several times that the tripod straps got caught in the pants pocket when I moved the bag from back to front, that’s why I took them off. On a wedding day, I don’t carry a tripod with me, and my stands on which the flashes or lamps with continuous light stay in the trolley.
